The all-new ŠKODA OCTAVIA is open for order
The OCTAVIA has been part of the ŠKODA range for more than 20 years and continues to be the brands best selling model with more than 2.5 million third-generation OCTAVIA's sold worldwide.
Space
The all-new OCTAVIA is longer and wider with more boot space than the previous model. The rear seats can be folded down for optimum capacity with the hatch offering 1,555 litres of boot space and the estate boasting an impressive 1,700 litres.
Power
In terms of engine choice, the new OCTAVIA range launches with three options with power outputs ranging from 115PS to 150PS. The petrol unit is a 1.5 TSI 150PS while the entry-level diesel offering is a 2.0 TDI unit. Both with a six-speed manual gearbox. SE L First Edition customers have the additional option of a 2.0 TDI 150PS engine that comes with a seven-speed DSG gearbox. Additional derivatives and powertrains joining later in the year.
Safety
There is the option of a rearview camera discretely hidden under the boot handle to make squeezing into that tight space a lot easier. The Front Assist monitors your distance from the vehicle ahead and can trigger an emergency braking system and with Adaptive Cruise Control, you can set the vehicle to maintain a constant speed while keeping a safe distance from other road users.
Connectivity
All models include a Virtual Cockpit with 10.25" display which can be customised depending on what information the driver wants to see, there is DAB radio and smart linking available for Apple Car Play, Android Auto and MirrorLink. The SE Technology variants also come with a Columbus satellite navigation with 10" touchscreen display as standard. There are plenty of USB ports for you and your passengers to stay connected, including 2 in the centre console, 2 in the rear of the front centre armrest and another in the rear view mirror.
