Did you know Kia launched an app called 'Kia Charge'?, a powerful tool used to simplify your electric driving journey. The Kia Charge app provides easy access to the majority of public charging networks in the UK and Europe. Exclusive to Kia Customers - The Kia Charge is the only app and card you require for everything from trip planning to charging. There has never been a simpler way to charge on the move! 

 

How does it work ?

Step 1 - Get to know the Kia tariff and register online

1. Book your charging tariff and enjoy full flexibility. If you already have login details for Kia Account, please use them. Otherwise, begin the process to create a new account
2. Enter information about you and your vehicle. This information is mainly collected to create your account and to ensure that you receive offers that fit your vehicle.
3. Choose your preferred method of payment.
4. Order your charging card or, if you already have one, enter the number of your card. You can choose to activate your contract right away or set a specific date for activation. You will also receive a full overview of your contract. If everything is correct, simply click confirm.

Step 2 - Activate your card and download the Kia charge app

• This can be downloaded via Google play or App Store 
• After you’ve activated your card, the service is available to you right away. With the Kia Charge app, you have access to Kia's charging network.
• Once that's completed and you’ve activated your card, the service is available to you right away. You can search for charging stations, check plug types and their availability, and even start the charging process. You can also view and update your account and billing information.

Step 3 - Explore the network 

• Both on the website and in the app, the map allows you to locate charge stations. Filter by plug types, charging speed, and availability. View ratings and leave reviews.
• Additionally, you can use the app to directly begin navigation while displaying a route to the charging station of your choice and if a station offers remote charging, you can also initiate that process, too.

Step 4 - Start Charging !

Depending on the charging station, you can start the process in a variety of ways and enjoy maximum flexibility.

1. Charging card: Use your card to authenticate yourself at the charging station before starting the charging process.
2. App: Start and stop the charging process directly from your app. At some charging stations, you can also track your charging process via the app.
