Outline of the Role
To assist the marketing team with the groups marketing strategy, presence, and tone of voice both online and offline. To maintain strong working relationships with all members of staff, third-party advertisers, and manufacturer representatives.
To maintain and update the Group’s Website and Brand Subdomains
To assist in creating and implementing customer advertising/communication campaigns to segmented group database (Emails, SMS, Polk/RTC etc.)
To track progress of campaigns using analytics and compile in a report to present to the Marketing Manager.
To collaborate with the Social Media Executive to ensure offers/messaging is unified across all online channels
To create engaging copy for the Group’s blog
To oversee the performance of PPC campaigns across the group
To monitor competitor activity and suggest potential improvements to our strategy, website, and customer experience within the marketing space.
To ensure GDPR customer preferences are updated on all marketing systems
To source and update relevant brand offers/communications via brand intranets to ensure all content is up to date
Evolve the brand experience to increase engagement, conversion, and lifetime customer value
Managing, uploading and formatting all content to brand websites to maximise customer experience and increase conversion.
Ensure consistency of brand messages across all communications activities
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital KPI’s and marketing and communications activities and proactively use results to improve campaigns
Ensure the regular communication of digital marketing initiatives and results to internal stakeholders, producing reports as required
Develop and source engaging content for groups blog to increase SEO ranking
Briefing in PPC campaigns to our PPC provider. Analysing monthly reports and passing on relevant top-line stats to Marketing team.
Attending and participating in the relevant marketing planning meetings with directors and department managers
To communicate online with customers in a professional and friendly manner
To complete all tasks in an accurate and timely manner
Maintaining a good level of general housekeeping standards
Maintain and improve personal Product and Technical knowledge through social media, blogs, newsletters and attending in house or manufacturer training courses
To carry out any other reasonable duties as directed to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the marketing department
To be personally smart and presentable in dress, appearance and manner in order to portray the professional image of the Company.
