About the role

Citygate are currently recruiting for an IT Helpdesk Technician to join the IT Support team based at Citygate SKODA/SEAT Slough.

This role requires you to be the first point of contact, the candidate will support all users seeking technical assistance across our 12 branches via our internal helpdesk. Key tasks will include;

  • Remote desktop support
  • Logging, updating and resolving tickets raised via the internal IT helpdesk
  • Hardware and software installations
  • Responsibility for the active directory and user account support
  • Updating Asset Manager
  • General stock maintenance
  • Liaising with third party businesses

 

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have experience working on Windows 7 – 10 programmes.
  • Have an understanding of an MPLS network
  • Have experience working with a server 2012 active director
  • DHCP/DNS
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365 and Outlook
  • Be able to professionally represent the company at all times, being a supportive and enthusiastic team member
